Prodell Middle School students are actively engaging in summer reading through Beanstack, an innovative digital platform introduced by librarian Ann-Marie Kalin. Beanstack allows readers to track their progress, build reading streaks and make summer reading a winning experience.

“The platform has proven popular among students who are using it to set personal reading goals and maintain momentum throughout the summer break,” Mrs. Kalin said.

Additionally, over 30 enthusiastic readers emailed Mrs. Kalin directly to request personalized Summer Reading Totes featuring customized book selections tailored to their individual interests.

This strong participation demonstrates the success of combining traditional reading initiatives with modern technology to foster a vibrant summer reading community at Prodell Middle School. Mrs. Kalin encourages students to visit the Prodell Library site to access Beanstack, learn more summer reading opportunities, link to the North Shore Public Library and find great reads!
