Albert G. Prodell Middle School eighth grader Jamyson Ochoa received the Outstanding Soloist Award at the 2025 Music in the Parks festival, held this past weekend at Six Flags. The honor is presented to individual performers who demonstrate remarkable vocal skill and artistry.

Music In The Parks is an educationally focused music festival that provides school performing ensembles the opportunity to learn from exceptional music educators. The program brings together student musicians and professional adjudicator-clinicians to provide musical growth, achievement and recognition for both individual students and their participating music programs.
