This past week, more than 125 students were screened for kindergarten at Miller Avenue School. The screening process is designed to support each child's unique developmental journey and ensure optimal educational placement.

Shoreham-Wading River’s screening is a collaborative approach to understanding a child’s developmental strengths, potential areas for additional support, appropriate educational placement and individual learning needs.

“It was amazing meeting the graduating class of 2038,” Principal Claudia Smith said.
