Two years ago, the District began considering the future of the Briarcliff property, which was closed in 2014. Since that time, the District hosted several public forums and a community roundtable to solicit feedback and suggestions from the community about the topic. Considering the information received, it was decided that it was in the best interest of the District to lease or sell the property with the support of a real estate firm. This past summer, the District contracted with Nest Seekers Internationalto provide this service. The property will be placed on the market for the lease or sale this week (Nov. 4). The District will continue to keep residents informed of the process as it continues to develop.
