Students in Mr. Richard Muller’s sixth grade class worked through an
Argument-Driven Inquiry lesson where they engaged in a peer review of
scientific claims made about paper airplanes.
“Training on this shift in pedagogy was provided for the secondary
science faculty just last week, and we are already putting it into
action,” STEM Director Dr. Amy Meyer said about the student-centered
learning that helps develop well-crafted scientific reasoning and
science-specific literacy skills.
