In preparing for the 2019-20 academic year, Shoreham-Wading River School District faculty and staff were welcomed with inspirational messages from district administrators and Board of Education vice president Katie Andersen during Superintendent’s Conference Day. They also had opportunities for professional development, to network with new colleagues, meet up with old friends and become informed of updated safety and security measures. To add to the festive and dynamic return to school, they were treated to a sneak peak of the high school fall musical “Mama Mia,” as seven student-members of the stage production sang “Dancing Queen.”

Led by music teacher Dennis Creighton, the cheerful rendition also served as a reminder to save the date for the Nov. 7, 8 and 9 performances.
