Seniors Francesca Lilly and Wesley Pase were each nominated for the Dellecave Award. The two students were the nominees from the high school – each district in Suffolk County nominates one female and one male graduating senior – for the award, which is named after longtime Suffolk County basketball official and founder of the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame Butch Dellecave. In addition to being outstanding athletes, both students were selected for their exceptional character and integrity. They were recognized along with nominees from other Suffolk County high schools at a recent breakfast ceremony.
