Once more, the Shoreham-Wading River School District community came out to support the National Honor Society Blood Drive. Spearheaded by officers President Kathleen Loscalzo, Vice President Mahdi Rashidzada, Secretary Caroline Morgan and Treasurer Andrew Honold, the drive collected 34 donations.

“We are so proud of these students for not only taking this leadership role in coordinating this drive but for bringing the school and community together in the spirit of teamwork to potentially help more than 100 people who urgently need the lifesaving blood,” said social studies teacher Maria Lovasco who co-advises the NHS along with social studies teacher Russ Mitchinson.
