The High School’s Gay-Straight Alliance welcomed USA Swimming National Champion Tom Luchsinger as a guest speaker recently. A 2013 World Championship finalist, 10 time NCAA All-American, and 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Trial Qualifier, Mr. Luchsinger spoke to students about his experience being the first openly gay USA national team member, informed students about LGBTQIA terms, and provided advice about building positive, healthy relationships and having a presence on social media that students can be proud of years later.
