SWR High School English teacher Edward Storck has been selected to serve
as a member of the editorial review board for the English Journal, a
publication of the National Council of Teachers of English.
Storck has an impressive record serving for the past two years as a
reviewer for the English Journal. Of the more than 600 reviewers, he is
one of only 20 members of the editorial review board who will work to
improve the quality of writings that appear in the publication.
Cited for his long-standing commitment to the National Council of
Teachers of English and to the publication, Storck was selected in part
for consistently providing timely feedback for writers and advice to the
editors as to whether a piece should be published. His new position
will task him with reviewing articles for the five volumes that will be
edited, giving substantive feedback on other articles and offering
general advice about themes, column topics, selected features in the
journal and providing mentorship to a new reviewer.
