The Shoreham-Wading River School District is pleased to showcase our student artwork with a monthly rotating display in the District Office lobby. Every month we will feature pieces from each of our four school buildings.

For February, fashion illustrations created by Ms. Shepard’s Intro to Fashion Design students at the High School were featured.

All illustrations are original hand-drawn designs. Students in this course focus on illustrating the fashion croquis (figure) and coming up with their own garment designs based on given prompts. The projects displayed in District Office were from one of two different assignments. Some focused on various ways to illustrate and render different types of fabrics, while the others feature a NYC Fashion week look that incorporated the Pantone colors forecasted for Spring 2024.
