Wildcat wrestler Gavin Mangano won the state championship at 131 lbs. at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Wrestling Championships held Feb. 23 and 24 at the MVP Arena in Albany. Gavin, a freshman at Shoreham-Wading River High School, finished the season with a 51-1 record and his overall record is 117-3.
