The Shoreham-Wading River High School SADD Club brought the mission of P.S. I Love You Day to the forefront on Feb. 9. The event, held every second Friday of February, is when people are encouraged to wear purple to stand up against bullying, help end depression and prevent suicide.
Club members created posters with the day’s messages of kindness and hope and played uplifting music in the halls during passing periods. Students also worked at a table in the cafeteria where people could write kindness grams or tokens of love to give to others.
Thank you to these dedicated students and advisers Maryanne Agius and Melissa Hollywood for sharing these messages for all to see!
