Students in Shoreham-Wading River High School’s journalism class are currently working on the second edition of the Wildcat Pause for the 2023-2024 school year in the Mac Lab. Under the leadership of teacher Mr. Vincent Ball, students are required to complete a corresponding multimedia piece in addition to writing the text for their stories. This part of the assignment can take the form of an audio podcast, a photo slideshow or a brief video.

According to Mr. Ball, students are covering a variety of topics, ranging from the food waste crisis to community events including the fire at the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, and district events like the recently hosted Coffeehouse at the high school.
