Who was that dog sniffing around Miller Avenue School recently?
Second graders were in awe when the Suffolk County Police Department’s K-9 handler and trained German Shepherd visited the school to discuss and demonstrate the role police K-9 units perform every day.
The following day, Officer Sam visited the classrooms to share some important tips such as 911 Awareness and Stranger Danger.
