Albert G. Prodell Middle School Library MakerSpace and many classes reflected on Veterans Day with both literature and gratitude. Inspired by Margot Theis Raven’s “America's White Table,” the Prodell Library and Librarian

Mrs. Ann-Marie Kalin commemorated the service and sacrifice of all armed service men and women with a set table. The table inspired students and staff to read the book and share their own experience with American heroes.

Students continued this mindfulness and gratitude at recess in Prodell’s MakerSpace creating holiday cards to be mailed to active troops. These efforts were well supported with Mrs. Mellas’ ELA students, members of the National Junior Honor Society and the Christian Club.
