Miller Avenue School first graders enjoyed the festivities of Halloween and started their day with some literacy and math enhancements. Cara Behrens and Alison Quenzer's class had centers set up to aid in reading and numeric skills.

“The students went around the room in groups and played festive games based on the concepts we've been working on in class,” Ms. Behrens said. “We also had some parents come in to assist with a craft. We had such a fun day!”
