The weather forecast called for rain for the Oct. 21 Homecoming parade
and festivities in Shoreham-Wading River. When the parade was cancelled,
Miller Avenue School Principal Mrs. Claudia Smith rescheduled the event
for Oct. 23.
“It was a magical day celebrating Disney
at Miller Avenue,” teacher Aimee Schwabe said of the students and staff
parading in their finest Disney costumes throughout the school hallways.
Smiles were everywhere!
