Albert G. Prodell Middle School celebrated Unity Day for the third consecutive year on Oct. 18.
Unity Day is a time to come together in sharing one giant message of kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Prodell staff and students wore orange to recognize Unity Day and to visibly show that they believe that no child should ever experience bullying.
Student Council members, under the advisement of Ms. Kaitlin O’Connell, facilitated a kindness initiative by placing Post-it notes with positive messages on each student’s locker in hopes of brightening their day.
