Bravo to Shoreham-Wading River High School sophomore Julianna ONeill who won a gold medal at this year's Long Island Math Fair for her math research paper, “An Exploration of Expected Values and Equilibrium in the Hawk-Dove Game.” Julianna competed through the Institute of Creative Problem Solving, a math program for the gifted and talented students of Long Island. She was recommended for this program by Prodell mathematics teacher Mr. Robert Mancuso.
