Miller Avenue School's second grade Student Council, in conjunction with the Miller Avenue PTO, ran a St. Patrick's Day fundraiser and raised $475.90. Each year the money raised is donated to helping families and organizations in the community. This year the students and advisors Mary Anne Benz and Robert Korchma chose to donate the money to the local AGAPE Meals for Kids. They were recently visited by representatives of the organization to present the check. It will certainly go a long way in helping their mission to assist families right in our local communities.
