A celebratory mood was in the air when the Shoreham-Wading River Central School District Board of Education granted tenure to five educators in the district at the May 2 meeting.

Fourth grade teacher Kerryann DeMauro, music teacher John Samonte, English teacher Sara Trenn, music teacher Cara Verity and third grade teacher Nicole Virdone were honored with this milestone achievement.

The school district thanks and congratulates these educators for their efforts in advancing the goals and mission of the district.
