Albert G. Prodell Middle School seventh grader Joseph Losquadro, a member of the school’s History Club, exhibited in the Long Island History Day Competition on March 26 at Hofstra University.

Joseph’s project, “Project Mulberry: Changing the Tactics of War,” examined this year’s History Day theme, “Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas.” The highlight of Joseph’s research was an interview with retired Navy Chief Joshua Ballou who helped him connect Project Mulberry to the frontier of naval engineering and the Seabees.

Club advisers Ms. Corinne Fallon and Ms. Danielle Senneca, along with History Club members, congratulated him on the time and effort he invested in researching and presenting his topic and the high-quality display he created.

“We are proud of Joseph for showcasing his talents and enthusiasm for history, and we look forward to seeing the amazing things he will continue to achieve in the future,” Mrs. Senneca said.
