Students were excited – the guests were all here,
The school rang out with a super loud cheer.
A tall cat wearing a hat appeared…
Who was it, what guest did we have?
Why, “The Cat in the Hat” at Miller Ave.

To continue to encourage Read Across America initiatives, the theatrical group Plaza Theatrical Productions visited Miller Avenue School on March 8 for a performance of “The Cat in the Hat,” with everyone’s favorite cat who came to mischievous life in this adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic.

“The students were engaged,
Throughout the whole show,
Laughing, cheering, applauding,
They loved it, you know?
Our kids love great books,
and what's even sweeter
this show can also build
a deep love of theater!”
