Kindergarten students in Mrs. Courtney Von Bargen’s class at Miller Avenue School welcomed a new member to their ranks. Ears, the Responsible Rabbit, represents the Wildcat Character Trait of the Month: responsibility.

“When kindergartners in our room are being responsible, he hops onto their desks to help them work,” Mrs. Von Bargen said.

The students also made up a song to the fun tune of “On Top of Spaghetti.” The lyrics are:

Responsible rabbit,
Is someone we trust.
He cleans up his carrots,
And sweeps up the dust.
Responsible rabbit,
Best bunny in town.
Someone to depend on,
He won’t let you down.
