Angels Make Miller Ave Magic Happen!

A display of holiday gifts and holiday decorations thumbnail238474
The Shoreham-Wading River School District thanks the generous staff and families in the community for their gifts and Miller Avenue School physical education teacher Katie Carlson and second grade teacher Alice Steinbrecher for organizing the school’s Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Tag program. The collection of popular toys, bicycles, clothing and more took over much of the space in the Miller Avenue gymnasium before being transported to the Salvation Army trucks.

The Angel Tree Tag program is an annual mainstay in the SWR community that encourages school and community members to make a difference in the lives of others during the holiday season.
