Miller Avenue School’s kindergarten students are shaping into imaginative spellers! Mrs. Kerri Anderson is working with her class to develop foundational skills to become expert writers.
They worked on a Show and Tell writing unit during Writer’s Workshop, in which the students illustrated their stuffed animals and labeled them. The three-step process had them look and think, draw and then write.
