When you enter Miller Avenue School, there is a distinct observation in the air: kindness. The students show empathy, acceptance, kind gestures and thoughtfulness to one another and their teachers. They also continue to put into practice their Wildcats With Character traits, and a recent Kindness Challenge resulted in a visit from the school’s mascot – Whiskers the Wildcat!

“Whiskers was so excited to visit the boys and girls and encouraged them to choose a gift from the prize box,” teacher Mrs. Krista LaBarbera said.
