Miller Avenue School has a new flowerbed greeting passersby at the entrance of the school parking lot. Brownie Troop 2776 planted colorful chrysanthemums and ornamental cabbage surrounding the marquee, which currently has a “Thank You Board of Education” message.

“This is such a kind gesture for these girls to take on this project,” Miller Avenue Principal Claudia Smith said. “We are grateful to them and troop leader Jen Oliveri for beautifying our signage area and taking on the world with their big-hearted generosity.”
