Earning an Eagle Scout badge takes several years to accomplish, and five Shoreham-Wading River seniors have been honored with the prestigious title. Sean Dany, Bradley Doherty, Matthew Iberger, Gavin Tezza and Bryan Vogel, all members of Boy Scout Troop 94 in Wading River, took community needs into consideration with their thoughtful and ingenious projects.

Sean built two donation bins at Calverton’s Kent Animal Shelter. Bradley built four archery stands for Camp DeWolfe in Wading River. Matthew built four benches that convert into picnic tables. Gavin built five bandstands that were donated to Shoreham-Wading River High School. Bryan built horse feed bins and a balance beam to rehabilitate horses at Warrior Ranch Foundation in Calverton.

“We are pleased that these young men took this time to honor their hometowns and school community with these projects,” Shoreham-Wading River High School Principal Frank Pugliese said. “We are honored to share in the recognition of their tremendous accomplishments.”
