Shoreham-Wading River High School freshmen are improving their creativity in the high school’s Studio in Art class. Taught by art teacher Mr. Jason Andria, the introductory course covers a broad range of media, techniques and skills for students to expand on.

Students are gaining knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the artistic, cultural and intellectual accomplishments of civilization through a studio-based experience. A recent lesson had them drawing inanimate objects including vases, bottles and bowls in a genre that spans art history.
