Teamwork and problem-solving were the name of the game for Albert G. Prodell Middle School students in Michele Vitale’s sixth grade math class.
Mrs. Vitale tasked her students with their first STEAM challenge of the school year. They worked in groups to build a pyramid with only string, a rubber band and a plastic cup. Without using their hands, they carefully lifted the cup and placed it on top of the other cups to form a pyramid.
