The Shoreham-Wading River School District recognized three district employees at the June 21 Board of Education meeting for being honored earlier in the spring with SCOPE Educational Service Awards.

Mr. Mark Passamonte, the district’s director of health, physical education, athletics and nurses, was honored for Administrative Service; Miller Avenue School second grade teacher Mrs. Alice Steinbrecher was congratulated for Teacher Service and Mr. Keith Watson, district groundskeeper, for Support Staff Service. They were congratulated by Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Mr. Brian Heyward. Mr. Heyward commended each recipient for their dedication and countless hours of service in embracing the school community and improving the educational experiences of all Shoreham-Wading River School District students.
