Shoreham-Wading River High School Class of 2022 valedictorian Lauren Halloran and salutatorian Erik Epp were recognized at the June 7 Board of Education meeting.

Principal Frank Pugliese introduced Lauren to the Board members and those in attendance. Erik, a member of the Small School Suffolk County championship-winning varsity boys tennis team, was being honored at a dinner and was not in attendance at the BOE meeting.

The two students have many achievements between them and demonstrate the mission and vision for all Shoreham-Wading River High School students – maximizing their potential, creating responsible citizens and fostering a lifelong appreciation for learning.
