Shoreham-Wading River High School senior Olivia Stowell was recognized for her service during the 2021-22 school year as ex-officio student member of the Shoreham-Wading River School District Board of Education. She was introduced by Principal Frank Pugliese at the June 7 Board of Education meeting. Mr. Pugliese shared the criteria that is used to select student representatives to serve as a voice of their fellow high schoolers to the seven-member Board of Education. Throughout her tenure, Olivia shared information on high school student activities and events. She was applauded by all Board trustees for her commitment to her important role in representing her peers.
