Students from Prodell Middle School shared their musical talents when they performed the national anthem to kick off a Long Island Ducks game at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip on May 27.

The festive event featured chorus students and choral director Mr. John Samonte. This is the first time that Prodell students have performed at a Ducks game under Mr. Samonte’s leadership.

“The kids had a great time singing the national anthem before the game and spent the rest of the evening having a wonderful night out with their families,” he said.
