The Shoreham-Wading River School District wrestling team members were honored by Town of Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine and councilwoman Jane Bonner on May 26. The student-athletes were commended for earning undefeated 2021 and 2022 League 7 championships. They were also honored for earning 2021 and 2022 Suffolk County championships and for earning All-Academic status for those two seasons.

Congratulations to the entire SWR wrestling program for earning back-to-back championships. “It is a tremendous accomplishment,” coach Joe Condon said. “Hard work, sacrifice, dedication and commitment does pay off!”
