The Shoreham-Wading River School District Board of Education recognized a milestone in the careers of six district staff members at a recent Board of Education meeting.

To the applause of Board trustees, administrators, family members, colleagues and community members, Shoreham-Wading River High School special education teacher Michael Buscemi, science teacher Dana Schaefer, art teacher Samantha Shepard and school psychologist Joelmaia Carrasaco were honored. Albert G. Prodell Middle School music teacher James Finnerty and guidance counselor Brendan Lynch were also named tenured educators.

The Shoreham-Wading River school community commends these educators for embracing and working to advance the goals and mission of the district.
