Four Shoreham-Wading River High School were honored at a recent meeting of the Suffolk County Legislature and were presented with a proclamation and certificates of achievement from Legislator Sarah Anker. The students were lauded for their creation of the first-place video in the Suffolk County Bicycle Safety Video Contest. Students Jack D’Andrea, Nicholas Friedlander, Chris Vignola and James Wicks were congratulated along with Shoreham-Wading River High School Media Production Club advisers Mr. Vinny Ball and Mr. Brendan Gilley.

“It was an exciting and proud moment to see these students honored for work they are truly passionate about,” High School Assistant Principal Mr. John Holownia said. “It is a great example of collaboration and motivation in one of our high school clubs.”
