Four Shoreham-Wading River High School students were honored at the April 12 Shoreham-Wading River Board of Education meeting for their first-place win in the Suffolk County Bicycle Safety Video Contest. Students Jack D’Andrea, Nicholas Friedlander, Chris Vignola and James Wicks wrote, produced and starred in the collaborative video. Media Production Club advisers Vinny Ball and Brendan Gilley encouraged the project and were at the meeting to congratulate the students as well. “The students were so incredibly deserving of this honor,” said Mr. Ball. “It’s a testament to their creativity that the video was such a success.”
