The Shoreham-Wading River School District held a ribbon-cutting to launch the new Wildcat Wrestling Center, located behind the high school.

Superintendent of Schools Mr. Gerard Poole, Board of Education President Mrs. Katie Andersen, and athletic director and wrestling coach Mr. Joe Condon addressed the attendees, who included members of the Board of Education, district administrators, members of the Wildcat Athletic Club, community residents and the Shoreham-Wading River wrestling team members.

Once the ribbon was cut, attendees walked through the doors of the center to see the wrestling team at practice as well as the locker room and the walls that feature some of the storied history of Shoreham-Wading River’s wrestling teams and coaches.
