Students in Miller Avenue School had a fun way to get to know their new classmates. Second grade teacher Courtney Von Bargen put a unique twist on a scavenger hunt – encouraging students to ask one another questions such as who can whistle, who has a pet, who likes pizza and who plays an instrument. The lively outdoor event resulted in some instant friendships as well as opportunities to discover likes and differences among the students.
