The Shoreham-Wading River School District Board of Education honored
several retiring employees of the school district. Together, they
represented more than 200 years of service to the students of
Shoreham-Wading River.
Shoreham-Wading River High School Principal Frank Pugliese lauded Jane
Redavid from the attendance office and Deborah Weresnick from the
nurse’s office. He also had kind words for Thomas Wagner, audio-visual
technician, and congratulated English teacher Jean Branna for her
indelible commitment to the district.
Wading River School principal Lou Parrinello praised fifth grade teacher
Leeann Kraus for her unwavering dedication to her students and as a
constant, thoughtful planner, who imparted many words of wisdom with her
grade-level leadership.
Miller Avenue School Principal Claudia Smith commended teaching
assistant Jennifer Testa for her commitment to students. Mrs. Smith also
lauded Christine Kluber for her 23 years of service to students.
The Shoreham-Wading River School District also congratulates and thanks
Joan DeBenedetto, Louis Zabbia and Susan Zarmon and all the retirees for
their commitment to the students of our school community and wishes
them great success in their new endeavors.
