Students in Mr. Jeremy Impellizzeri’s fifth grade class at Wading River
School joined the first “Story Time from Space LIVE” where Astronaut
Shannon Walker read “Willow the Water Bear” live from the International
Space Station! In addition to reading the book, the students had an
opportunity to virtually meet the author, Houston Kidd, other
astronauts, and learn more about the amazingly resilient little
creatures we call water bears.
