The Shoreham-Wading River Board of Education recognized a milestone in the careers of two administrators at the Jan. 19 Board of Education meeting. High School Principal Mr. Frank Pugliese and Prodell Principal Mr. Kevin Vann were both granted tenure and applauded by the BOE members and Superintendent of Schools Mr. Gerard Poole.
“Mr. Pugliese and Mr. Vann are tremendous assets to our school district and regularly display an unwavering level of leadership, commitment and dedication to the entire Shoreham-Wading River community,” Mr. Poole said. “These past several months have forced all of our educators to make unprecedented shifts in their approaches to instruction, and our successes to date are largely a credit to these secondary school principals who have served as guiding pillars of support, not only for our teachers but also our families and students. I look forward to continuing to work beside them as we support the district’s mission of excellence.”
