The next Emily Dickinson or Robert Frost may well be a student from Miller Avenue School! Students in Ms. Caitlin Bolembach’s class wrote and edited stories using an editing checklist. They then took their works outdoors on the school’s front lawn to collaborate in pairs and share their revised stories with a classmate.
“They always look forward to going outside on a nice day to read or share with a partner,” Ms. Bolembach said.
