E-Bike and E-Scooter Laws and Safety Information

Dear Families,

The Suffolk County Police Department has provided the attached flyer regarding the laws and safety requirements governing the use of e-bikes and e-scooters. The safety and well-being of our students is always our highest priority.  Under Suffolk County regulations, e-bike and e-scooter riders must be at least 16 years old and wear a helmet. These devices are also prohibited on sidewalks and on roadways with speed limits over 30 miles per hour, subject to applicable restrictions.
