The Board of Education held its annual reorganizational and regular public meeting on July 10, 2026. During the reorganizational meeting many contracts for the school district were renewed and policies adopted for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
The District Clerk, Georgette Kershis, swore in Katie Andersen, Henry Pérez and newly elected trustee Erin Saunders-Morano for three-year terms. The trustees then elected Jim Lauckhardt as president and Henry Pérez as vice president for the 2026-2027 school year.
Former student, Harrison Zeller was recognized for his design winning logo for the SWRHS Media Production Studio.
The Board approved community members to district committees, resolutions for change orders, and the hiring of Mr. Christopher Molinelli as the new principal of Miller Avenue School.
