Miller Avenue School first graders in Alison Quenzer’s and Cara Behrens’ class and second grade student council members discovered the different ways to take care of animals

To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Alice Steinbrecher’s second grade class at Miller Avenue School is dedicating the school year to special activities.

Middle School seventh grade students enrolled in the school’s Homes and Careers course turned into “foodpreneurs” as they transitioned digital food truck concepts into physical business portfolios.

The Wading River School gymnasium was packed with climbing equipment as fourth grade students navigated the one-way course as part of a long tradition called Whittle Gym.

Wading River fourth and fifth grade students look up to their older peers and in a recent visit they also listened as they worked with Shoreham-Wading River High School computer science students.
