The district’s Roundout program is providing local students with another summer filled with fun and friendship. The annual recreation program is held at Wading River School and brings students together from July to mid-August to participate in games, team-building activities, outdoor play, and arts and crafts – all designed to keep campers active and connected while school’s out.

A special part of the Roundout program is the involvement of its student volunteers. Many of the volunteers once attended Roundout as campers themselves and have returned to help lead activities, mentor younger students and continue the tradition of creating a fun and inclusive summer experience.
